Handwriting

Handwriting is a multifaceted skill that takes into consideration many building blocks. Occupational therapists can evaluate and treat the core components that support a child's handwriting, such as muscle strength, endurance, motor coordination, and visual motor skills. For children who have deficits in these areas, handwriting can be a challenging and frustrating task. Occupational therapists can help children build the foundational skills required for handwriting in a fun and creative way, while also improving their overall self-esteem and confidence!
